Toussaint Kafarhire Murhula, S.J., PhD, is a poet and a Jesuit priest from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He holds a doctorate in International Relations from Loyola University Chicago and a master's degree in ethics and social theories from the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University in California, United States. He also studied African Theology at Hekima University College in Nairobi (Kenya) and philosophy at Saint Pierre Canisius Faculties, Kimwenza, Kinshasa (DRC). He has taught international relations, political theories, foreign policy analysis, African cultures and conflict, and the politics of developing societies in the United States, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is a member of several international networks and associations in which he serves in leadership positions. He coordinates the Africa region of the Catholic Theological Ethics in World Church (CTEWC); he is the Vice-President of the Association for African Studies in Africa (ASAA); He is an active member of the CIHA blog network, and member of the ELIKYA network. Dr. Kafarhire is also a certified Executive Coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
