Rev. Alex Ojacor is a priest of Soroti Catholic Diocese, Uganda currently serving as an extern priest in the Archdiocese of Chicago. His previous assignments include being Rector in St. Peter’s Minor Seminary in Soroti, lecturer in St. Mary’s National Major Seminary Ggaba in Kampala Uganda, adjunct lecturer in The Catholic University of Eastern Africa Nairobi Kenya, adjunct faculty member in St Mary of the Lake University, Mundelein USA and Associate Pastor in St Leonard Church, Berwyn.
He holds a Doctorate in Ministry from the University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, Illinois where he graduated in 2020, on top of his doctorate in Religious Studies from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Masters from the same university, and his Bachelors from Makerere University. Fr. Alex Ojacor is a co-author, a regular contributor to the mainstream media houses in Uganda, a founder of the Children’s Education Foundation (the CHEF) Uganda, founder and president of Creating Opportunities through Reaching Out and Education (CORE) Uganda and a social critic with a passion for humanity especially the underprivileged..
