My research interests include the following: Islam, Muslim-Christian relations in Africa, Comparative Theology, Missiology, and Anthropology of Religion. My dissertation explores the relationship between pilgrimage, memory, and identity, among Catholic and Muslim (Sufi) communities in Senegal, in a comparative perspective.
