A reflection on the mass readings of the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Sr. Agba Laadi Philomena is a Religious Sister with the Congregation of the Daughters of St Paul. She is currently the local superior of the community of Abuja and also the regional bursar of the West African region of the congregation.

Sr. Philomena has had the opportunity of working and studying in various parts of Africa. She has lived and worked in Nairobi, Kenya; Maputo, Mozambique and in Johannesburg and Durban, South Africa. She has also lived and studied in Rome and Brescia, Italy.

Sr. Philomena began her tertiary education with a Diploma in Mass Communication, followed by a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology respectively. She holds an M.A. in Biblical Theology, and she is currently an M.A. student in African Studies. She is also good with languages.
