Shalom Blessed in Christ!
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I welcome us to this beautiful Week of grace and favor. May St Paul whose conversion we celebrate today intercede for us as we strive to live a good Christian Life, Amen!
St. Paul is often considered to be the most important person after Jesus in the history of Christianity. His epistles (letters) have had enormous influence on Christian theology. His conversation is an example that anyone, even the most hardened unbeliever or the vilest heretic, can be created anew and used by our loving Savior.
According to Henri Nouwen, the great conversion called for by Jesus is to move from belonging to the world to belonging to God. This is exactly what St Paul did and we are called to do the same!
*Dear Friends and Brethren, we are not converted only once in our lives but many times and this endless series of conversions and inner revolutions lead to our transformation and growth. Like St Paul, please allow Jesus to transform and transfigure you!*
